I have a customer with second office about 2.5 hrs away that another vendor is trying to service, but is having issues with a password using the pc admin on a Comdial DX120 system. They are telling me that their previous vendor went out of business years ago but changed the system's default password. They are telling me that the password to get into programming through the phone is a default password, but the password for remote pc admin was not the default password. They need to re-route D.I.D.'s and apparently you can't do that through the phone. Is there any way to change the pc admin password back to a default state without initializing? Every system has a backdoor! Send me a PM if need be. Thanks

I am pretty sure that if the default password works at the sets then it'll work through the PC admin. Are they sure they are using the right sequence through PCDBA?

Bingo Rather Be Fishing! It turns out they were dialing #'s through the phone as well as through the admin program. They should have been entering the spacebar instead. Problem solved.
