There seems to be an issue with the line appearances when you have Time Warner service. The line appearance will not work on a
Connect 536, with the latest software, the keys keep flashing but you can dial 9 and get dial tone as well as receive calls. Line voltage measures 47v. Had to install a 6x to save account. Has anyone else run into this issue?

No. We don't have TW here. Have you talked to Allworx support about this? What do they say?

Is this through an EMTA? Arris ?

Did you enable the short loops box by chance?

I'd be interested to see what support says about this.

Also....did you take it back to your shop and test to see if it did the same thing there with analog lines? Just curious.

Does the same thing at the shop, took it home and it failed on a Verizon line. We did learn that there was a reported case of another TW site that was not working, TW changed out the router and it worked. The issue is that a 6x works fine in its place and we over shot the labor on the job. At this point we are assuming there is an issue with this 536 and we are going to send it in for repair.

just got the connect 536 back from repair with 8.0.14 same problem. cannot have line appearances. Going to take it home and try it on a Verizon line. I suspect it will fail there also.

Update:three hours later working with another support group.
When doing line appearances be sure blf is checked for the port you are using for the phones. You might want to check both just to cover you hiney.

I have no idea why level two did not check this when they were in the system a month ago!!!!!!This required us to send it in for repair, which it did not need.
