Hey Guys,
I have a SV8300 PBX. I have a phone that was no longer needed and I want to change the extension (station) to something else to fit into our numbering scheme. We had a SV8100 connected to our SV8300 from remote site that is now decommissioned so the 8300 is alone. When I try to assign an extension that is similar to the number scheme the remote site used, It won't let me configure the phone.
Ex: Change 1950 to 3301 but the remote site had a number 330 it tries to connect to when calling 3301.
How can I tell my SV8300 to stop looking for the remote site's existing numbers when it is out of the picture?
Thanks, -Tom

Numbering plan for tenent 1 is defined in CM200
If the other site has been permanently disconnected you would want to change 3, or 33, or 330 (going to depend on how it was originally configured) to = 8004 which is an internal 4 digit extension.
Right now 3 probably is = A126 which is a routing table for external or CCIS calls.
make detailed noted or take screen shots of everything you change in case issues arise later, you don't want to guess at what you were doing 3 weeks ago. CM200 affects the whole system so mucking around in there is not recommended if you're a novice.
