Recently we replaced a few of our phones with IP phones at Location 1. Ever since then, our users at Location 2 have been trying to dial to one of our users at Location 1 and it dials the wrong extension. I have button 17 on their phones set to Network Station 2166 but instead it dials 2169.

Funny thing is, the phone now located at 2169 used to be the phone used at 2166 but it is not an IP phone so the settings wouldn't have followed it. I have checked and the extension on it is correct (2169).

Any ideas?

Probably a long shot, but I had the above once - we had a station pairing inplace.

Thanks for the reply! I have to admit I'm still a beginner so I'm not sure what you mean by a Station Park.

Now I'm being told that when they dial 2166, it sends it to 2169.

Also I checked MMC 217 for Station Pair (not park, oops) and everything seems fine.

Are you running 4.53c software?

do you have buttons mapped for both extensions (the 1 they are trying to dial and the one that is actually being dialled?)

We're using 4.75 and the buttons are mapped for both extensions but mapped differently due to the different locations.

Is the forward on 2166 set to ring 2169? Clear all forwards on 2166. Make sure the forwards no answer isn't set to it either.
