We've got a site with a CICS/CP100 and line 1 exhibits an issue where incoming calls destined for the AA disconnect after 1 ring. If we change programming and answer the call at a telephone it works fine.

We tried moving the trunk to the 2nd card, replaced the Call Pilot, then replaced the KSU - but the problem remains. Almost sounds like a telco issue but how? Any thoughts?

I assume it is set to answer by AA. After how many rings?
If 0 or 1 - what happens when you bump it up to 4 rings?
Does any other line get answered by AA with the same Table/Same Rings? Does it work?
Try putting a working line to input line 1.
Quick test - Remove supervision for THAT line and test?
Works? probably the trunk card.
Although you have moved the line to a diff card, so if above tests still fail - Call Telco.
Still try remove Supervision for fun - see if any change.


If CON is the opposite of PRO
Then what is the opposite of Progress?

Turned out to be a bad card in the CO. Strangely the call could be answered before the second ring, but would disconnect after.
