6414 is a phone not a phone system. It went on several models of systems that programmed differently. You'll need a manual for the correct system. It's in there under programming.

I found the manual online for the old executech system we have but it does not say anything about programming for all phones to ring.

Don't know what manual you have. Could be a station user guide which is not a system program manual.

do not understand the question due you want all lines to ring on the one ext. the 6414 or do you want to DSS to ring

There should be a white tag on side of ksu with the model number, we are comdial service center. but need to know which ksu we talking about.
