I know this is a useless option but....a customer of mine saw that it would do it somewhere and I thought I would give it a try. Has anybody else set this up using gmail as the server? I see that the manual only has 6 settings to change to make this work. Does anyone have the gmail settings needed? Thanks

I don't know about the SBX, but there is a discussion on the Summit with gmail. Nfc phoneman had the info. I used it and it worked on my Summit. Good luck to you and if nfcphoneman reads this, thank you.

Thanks for the reply Ted. Yes I saw that as well, and after several hours of trying to get it to work, I have all but given up on it. I would love to know if anyone else has ever gotten it to work using gmail and if so, how? I am starting to wonder if I need a public static ip address on my system, but I don't think that is the issue. I am connected to a router and have a unique local ip address assigned to the system, so it should have outbound access to the internet/gmail.

Technically, I actually didn't get it to work on gmail either.
I tried by substituting the gmail.com with the ip address that I found on the internet by typing in (what's gmail.com ip address?) I then typed in that ip address and instead of sending me an error code it tried but would just time out. So then I tried an old outlook account that I never use. I did the same substitution changing outlook.com to its ip address and bingo it worked. I just assumed I had the wrong address for gmail. I actually used my outlook email and passcode to test another customer and it worked fine. Again this was on a Summit. Good luck, tk
