NS700 with 556B IP phones noise on near end(only) long distance calls after 5 or so minutes. Noise is like bad IP call. This is intermittent so hard to detect. I have noticed the transmitter appears to be sensitive(hot) but tried several settings in Audio Gain and have had no success. Panasonic not able to help much. Any ideas?

What trunks do you have.

Gain will affect volume levels not fix patchy calls. never noticed transmitter getting hot or see how it would.

all the ip phones are set to g722 wideband / hd audio, some people do not like the rich sound, try reducing to g711 and try it.

does the problem happen on peer to peer calls
