Not sure what setting controls this but i am getting a lot of blank voicemails. When a person calls my office i have auto attendant pickup and if you press 1 it goes to the service desk. When people hang up it still keeps the call connected until the voicemail times out. Any setting to check this.

I have a SBX IP with comcast analog lines. The version is VD78P-4.0Af SEP/13

Comcast most likely does not have disconnect supervision so the calls won't disconnect.

i Updated the fw to version VD78P-4.0Ai JUN/14 same issue after upgrading. Does anyone have release notes as to what these updates fix. I cant find it on the ftp server.

i spoke with comcast and of course they cant do anything on their end. Is there a timer i can adjust on the phone system?

You should set the DISA retry count to 0, it defaults to 3 and it will play the CCR message that many times before hanging up a call. PGM 160 option 4

I had comcast replace my Arris Model TM502G EMTA and sure enough the problem is gone. Thank you all for all the help.
