I'm trying to have certain lines ring to a menu.
I want 0 in that menu to ring 2 phones, if no answer then ring 4 additional phones, if no answer go to a particular MBX.

What I did was to send the incoming lines to a phantom ext
phantom ext forwards to menu, 0 in menu goes to supervised transfer to ext 131, then goes to supervised transfer to group 453, then to MBX 131

Found I could not do supervised transfer to group.
Further found when we dial 0 out of the menu, 131 AND group 453 ring simultaneously, it does then go to MBX 13D

I don't get why this is happening.

Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe you could set up two hunt groups (451, 452). In 451 you would only have ext. 131. In the hunt group paramaters, have 451 preset forward to 452 (where you have the other 4 phones). In 452's paramaters forward to 440 using vmid 131. I don't remember if the Triad 2 had all of those paramaters, but it may have. If not, why not have it ring 131 and give delay call coverage keys to the other 4 phones. If it goes unanswered, it should go to mbx 131 anyway. Good luck!

What we found was that when we put in a hunt group as a menu choice, and set up the hunt group as an ext in the VM, a supervised transfer to the hunt group would not work. A blind transfer to the hunt group would.
The supervised transfer would allow a 2nd action to go to the second hunt group and no answer would allow a third action to go to MBX 131.

The issue is the inability to do a supervised transfer to a hunt group.
