Customer has several wireless headsets, of various brands, used with their previous system. Most work ok with their new SV 9100 system. Phones are DTZ-24D-3.

One headset sounds noisy, static-like, to the calling party. User hears it only if he turns up the volume. It's a Jabra model, about a year old, that connects to his desk phone, and blue-tooth to his cell. I know it's not the recommended Plantronics model. I've adjusted the controls on the bottom of the headset base, but can't get rid of the static.

Any ideas other than to toss it and get a Plantronics? Not using the EHS adapter. Maybe that would help?

Thanks.
Jim

Trying plugging the headset base in to a different power source. I had a client that had this issue and when the base was plugged into a power strip if had a hum static. Ran an extension cord to a different outlet and it was fine. Guessing there was a ground difference somewhere and it was causing the issue.
