We have an old STS installed that suddenly stopped outdialing when a msg is left in that particular mailbox.

We see it try to grab line one, but drops it immediately
We've tried manipulating the settings for outdial with no success

Any thoughts would be appeciated

Thanks

Do the VM ports have access to the line groups?

Entering An Outcall (pager) Number You must enter a telephone number so that the system will be able to automatically inform you of new messages via the Outcall Notification feature.

1. From the Mailbox User Main Menu, press [3] to access Mailbox Options. 2. Press [3] for Outcall Notification.
3. Press [4] to select the Outcall Number option.
4. Enter the Outcall telephone number - up to 18 digits ([*] = pause) and end it with a # (pound on dial pad)
5. Either press [1] to review, [2] to change, or [3] to delete the Outcall telephone number.
6. Press * (star) to go back and make sure system says that Outcall Notification is Activated
7. Hang-up

Note: The procedure in Step 4 to enter your number is as follows (this is the “tricky” part):

Enter the pager number (no “9” or other “access code” is required) then add 4 or 5 “pauses” (use the star key on the dial pad for a pause) then enter your mailbox number.

OOBIE

Trunk group access was wrong ( was group 2 access, should have been group 1 access )
LCR was on ( I turned off )
Pauses before number and a bunch of pauses after number fixed it
Doc had gotten a new iPhone, took longer to ring in.
.
Thanks for the help.
