Our co. has had this system for many years & works well. Originally, it had 4 CO lines: XXX-YYY-3323/3324/3325 & XXX-YYY-2592. We transferred XXX-YYY-3323 to another co. keeping the other lines which worked fine. Now, we want to add another co line. Is it as simple as tel. co. connecting line to our KSU or is programming involved ? Thanks, John

You're gonna need a gray-beard for this one. Some programming may be required, depending on just how you want the line to ring. I haven't worked on one of those in quite a few years, and I've forgotten what default ringing is. It may be just the main station, or it may be all of them. Good luck getting the local telco to connect it for you.

Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

Gray-beard. I love it!

And I resemble it as well.

JBean3329, Thanks for the quick reply. Our existing lines ring on all phones so hopefully that will be ok. I'll let you know ! Thanks again, John

I loved the EX-616 systems. Sold and serviced many back ~1982-1985. Will need a physical connection and probable programming. Those were strange in their programming as you had to specify phone types...DAB, DAO, S, etc. for the programming and ringing to work.
