Using an Axxess 8.2 system. Will have a dept. with 2 people/sets. They will receive calls from the public, who may prefer to leave a message. The 2 users will need to know when those messages are waiting.
Is there a way to have a simple mailbox, in the greeting record the information (location/leasve your name or dial xxx) and light the lamp on 2 seperate extension. If there is a better way please let me know. You may have to spell it out for me, not slow just don't want to mess things up.
Say Bye.

Xarios offers a product that allows multiple MSG lights to be lit when a message has been left. https://www.xarios.com/Products/AppServer/StdFeatures.aspx If you have Unified Messenger, set up a Group Account in Exchange to deliver to multiple people. Have Axxess deliver voice messages from a non associated mailbox to the Group Account. I use V10. So I don't know if V8 has this capability. Set a non associated mailbox to Forward Only to Group Account.

you cannot have notification on 2 stations, but you can set up Remote Messaging on the mailbox, so that while it lights the MSG lamp on one phone, it will call the other phone with VM notification.
Program your cascade level for Personal Number, IC, and make the destination the telephone extension w/o the voicemail box attached.

Here's what I did. I wanted 2 voice mailboxed to lite the MWI on 1 station I assigned the ie 2525 to station 1011 and 1011 to 1011. This worked. But how do I get the calls to 1011 go to VM after 'x rings' . I have set the phone in DND and call forwarded it to 2000 (voicemail pilot number) It continues to ring at 1011 and never forwards. The flag on the Forward path for DND (immediate) and never went.
Say Bye.

Not positive I understand, but do you have a system forwarding path assigned? Typically system forwarding path 1 for "general voicemail".
Once you assign that, you have to go into that system forwarding path and setup which instances should send calls there (DND, no answer, internal calls, day, night, etc.)
Also, within the station/ext.1011/flags be sure system forwarding is set to YES.
