Greetings
I am hoping I can get some help with a problem I have been going around and around with for a couple days. Before I hit the true issue will spit out some system information to the best of my knowledge
Hardware: Inter-Tel Axxess (not sure of model) Using Intertel 11.01 We have 2 PRI T1's coming into the system, and we have 2 orginizations using the phone system.
Issue: The issue that I am having is setting up CFNA on one of the extensions using the remote programming codes.
Steps: dial 359 > input extension > input extension passcode > 358 (Call forward) > input 8 (outside line) > dial number for outside forward number > Recieve "Forward to restricted trunk"
Seems to me that all of the extensions internally that are associated with the 2nd PRI T1 are having this issue (I can try to forward any of the extensions associated with this Trunk and get the same message). However I am able to do it for all of the extensions associated with the first PRI T1 trunk, with no problems.
at the end of the day I am hoping to have this outcome
incoming call goes to a certain extension if no one answers the phone or if it's busy it forwards to an external Answering service. We had an inter-tel tech come out about 5 months ago and setup some stuff, and the tenant never needed the forward until now, which of course all the instruction on how to set it up have long since vacated my memory.
If anyone could offer some assistance in this I would be greatful for the assistance.
thank you

Check the Trunk group access and see if your ext's are allowed to go out that trunk group.... I'm thinking 8 taking you to a group that you don't have access to. The outgoing programming is under system/station(open the station your working on)/associated/outgoing this needs to be the trunk group or ARS (by default ARS is 92000 first TG is 92001) Hope this helps Randy

That is the weird thing it is defaulted to the 92001, I tried changing it to the ARS 92000 and it still won't allow it.
I have two trunk groups 92001 (my floor) and 92002 (second floor and tenants).
It appears that 8 for outside line is going out 92001 instead of 92002. So I fixed it by adding the extension to the 92001 outgoing access list and it works. though they should be going out 92002 so I will dig deeper and figure it out!
thanks for your help!

Your outgoing ( 8 ) is controlled in
system/devices and feature codes/station(open the station your working on)/associated/outgoing
Then in the trunk group the phone needs outgoing access for day and night
