I have a Partner ACS release 7 with self amplified paging speakers. I need to program a night button on the system and have a way to make the ringing come out over the paging speakers. How can this be accomplished. Toshiba does this with night ring over external paging which is exactly what I want to do. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
THANKS
JBW

You're going to need a "black-box" that can connect to a spare extension port that is programmed into the night service group, and generates the "ringing" tone to go out over the speakers. Look at Viking Electronics.

PagePal will work great. It can even give you a pre-announce tone for the pages, and interface and mute background music for the speakers as well.

Thanks Tommy
Since the ACS7 uses a line port instead of a station port for paging how would I program this to ring on incoming calls at night.

You'll use CO-5 to connect the paging portion from the ACS R7 to the page input of the PagePal (using a 4-conductor line cord). Be sure to program CO-5 as the loudspeaker page port in system programming.

Then take an unused station port and connect the Tip/Ring to the terminal board of the PagePal, on the 90VAC night ring terminals. Program that station as NO ring on the lines, then put it in the Night Service group.
