I have an At&t 7406 plus phone. How do I get the speaker light to stop blinking. It stops when i push the speaker on but otherwise keeps blinking.

By chance was this recently upgraded to a G3?
Anyway, try this:
1. Press the SELECT button
2. Press the SPEAKER button
3. You will hear a series of tones and the SPEAKER will be reset.

By the way.....you will have to reset the speakerphone anytime the port to the phone has been opened. (set unplugged, port card maint, power failure, etc.
Your clue is the blinking light.
