The VS get it's time and date from the switch, re-enter the correct time and date and see if that doesn't straighten it out.

Davetel I have the same thing with a 2 cabinet pII IT previously had a vs mail and no complaints
we swapped to a messaging and the time issue surfaced.
I have reset time on system numerous times and they never match.
I think there are previos posts about this i will see if i can find them .

Check the extensions in Hunt Group 7, make sure ONLY the VM ports are there. Especially of there is a rouge extension with a lower extension number than the 1st VM port. The VS mail uses the 1st port to get the Time/Date, and also the Day/Night mode.
Oh, and I can never remember off the top of my head which release Partner Plus/Partner II you need to have for VS mail, as opposed to the old external mail.

I have had the same problem in the past with puting the newer mails with older systems.
But resetting date and time always have worked.
Not so long ago I put Partner Messageing R.6 on a Partner Plus or Partner 2 (can't remember). I tried to get customer to up-grade control unit, but they said it had worked well for them for the last 15 years and they did not see why to up-grade now.
And it still did what they needed it to do.
But anyway resetting date and time in programing of the Partner fixed the problem.
Hope this helps,

I don't think the Partner II R3.1 will update the VM. I believe it has to be at least a 4.0 or 4.1.
