Hello,

I am new here and would like to ask if anyone can offer me some advice. I am looking at phone systems and have narrowed my preference down to Avaya and ESI IVX E-class.

I have a personal preference for ESI because it seems to have all the features I'm looking for, I think it's an attractive phone and the sales rep is nice. (: But everyone tells me the Avaya system is the top of the line best system that money can buy.

Is this true? Is anyone familiar with ESI? Would I be doing myself a disservice if were to buy the pretty system with all the bells and whistles as opposed to the 'best'!

Any advise at all is appreciated!!!

Many thanks ~ D

Best is so subjective I won't even go there. Depending on application, the ESI has to be, by leaps and bounds, one of the easiest, user friendly systems out there if not THE easiest system to use and understand. AS an ESI dealer for 10+ years I have never had an issue or complaint about them NOR have I had a problem with users not understanding how to use it.

Thanks for your quick reply!

I agree with you 100%! The ESI rep was so eloquent in demonstrating and explaining the system - I feel that I could actually sell it myself! Whereas the Avaya system quite frankly I'm not sure I'll never be utilize the features because I simply cound not figure out how to manuver through the system.

I made some phone calls this morning to get references on the ESI system and they all raved about it. I'm pretty sure I'm going for it.

Thanks again so much, your response validates my thoughts.

Cheers ~D (:
