Hi Yall,
I doubt that anyone has heard of this system, and if they have i'm sure that it has been a long time since they have. I am looking for a Calais Voice Mail System it was made by Call Completion Technologies and I beleive that it is also known as (or at least the software) an "AP3dot2". It is a DOS based voice mail system with some cool features that most voice mail systems today do not have. But I was wondering if anyone new where I could get one whether it be new or used. I know that Call Completion Technologies has been out of business for quite sometime now but I'm sure that there are few people out there that have heard of this.

I worked on a Calais voice mail connected to a Panasonic phone system, to this day it's the worst voice mail I have ever worked on.
What cool features are you talking about?

Well when you can find a PC Based Voice Mail System that will park a call and page someone, have ACD through the voice mail system and give you reports on it different greeting for each mail box for time of day that switch automatically and busy greeting, also for each individual greeting have call queing for each extension and give the callers the option when they get to someones voice mail the option to park and page.

Let me no if you can get one like this and what brand it is but. what i want to know is where can you get a Calais

Calais could do ACD functions? On what systems?

What kind of capabilities did the supervisor have?
Could the supervisor push a key on their phone to monitor any agent?

Did the supervisor and agents have log in, log out and break keys on their phones?
Did any of their phones show how many calls where in queue?
Could you program the system to alarm if to many calls were queue?

I can't think of any voice mail system that does not put a call on hold and or park orbit than page to announce the call.

I'm pretty sure that it had ACD I can't fully remember off the top of my head but its been a long time. Also you must not have looked at DuVoice or Amanda Voice mail lately because they dont do park and page or hold and page.

We’ve been running CALAIS for 9 years. Moved to upgraded hardware but other than that minimal maintenance. Rock solid, very flexible, haven’t got a user request that we haven’t been able to make it do.
