In relation to the topic here , I am looking for a solution to the following :

A sump pump water-sensor, which will dial a number (first most priority) and play a message (not a priority, but wanted). It is for my boss that liked the description of the EV-1 installation.

Again, any advice and or direction is great!

Same situation only different input. Security distributors like ADI have water sensors. You could also use a float switch.

If he has an alarm system take a look at this
ADI and Tri-ED Distributors have little switches that give an SPDT switch when water rises in the sump hole. They can activate a dialer to call a phone number.EIf you need a picture of the switch I can send one.
