I have an old Telrad TR816M analog system.
I am in need of a program box and someone to program the system. I think the battery also needs replaced.

You need a 816 programming unit that plugs into port 21.I think Sundance Communications has one to rent. If you do get one then I can help you program it by phone.

O-yea I forgot to tell you that you can pick up one of those batteries at Radio Shack. It's a pretty common style.Just take the old one with you, remove it with the power on and you won't loose the programming.

It's a 3.6 volt with tails.
I would get the battery first, like dtmf said, don't turn off the power you'll lose programming and check the polarity B-4 installing the new one.

The only thing you can program on the 816 is day and night ring and hold mode. Cant ues toll rest. due to NPA NXX reads 1 and 0 only.
System should default to station 20 ringing and all lines are on kwy lower left side right side for DSS keys.

You can do alot more than that with them, But you need to have a DSS/Programmer to set features.
