Going to upgrade a ctx 100 processor from a actu2 to a actu3.My question is does the new processor come with licenses or do you transfer them from the old processor.Didnt see anything on fyi looking at prices about license coming with processor. Any input would be great. Thanks Terry

The new processor only comes with the basic 32 port licenses. You can transfer the licenses from your, but you need to be aware that there will be some additional costs (license transfer fee + disposal fee), and you need to send them the old processor.

Talk to the Toshiba sales desk about the fees. Depending on the size if the system it can sometimes be better to just add the additional licenses.

The ACTU3 will come with 32 ports by default.

You cannot transfer licenses from processor to processor as they are locked into the MAC address.

You CAN do a license transfer. The new processor must never have had any license applied to it.

You do this through FYI.

As stated, there is a scrap fee and you will need to return the old processor to Toshiba. I think the fee is $X.

Edited for price.
