help  Thanks in advance for those can help.

In a revious posting, I had a problem with two xtsc-ip networked together through voip connection. Again thanks to ev607797 for his reply to that posting.

The customer wants to park a call at one plant and pick it up at the other plant. Or park the call at plant 2 to be picked up at plant 2, while the call came in at plant 1.

They have an inskin hd voicemail at plant 1. As far as it can be determined, one touch recording at plant 2 through the network isn't possible. Can anyone can tell me a work around on this headache.

I can't blame the sales staff on this one. The consult is at fault on insisting on the type of system to put in. Now it's our job, to a point to deal with the issues.

Thanks again.

I am pretty sure that if you renumber your parking locations to fall within the four-digit numbering plan, it can be done. For example, in the 1XXX system, change 430 to become 1430. Do the same for the 2XXX system. I think that you can then park the call in a park location 430 at the other system. Don't hold me to that, but I think we've gotten something similar to this to work before.

Of course, if you take a call from one node and park it in another, it can only be retrieved at the other node. You're going to have to experiment with that one. I know that it works with other 3-digit feature codes, like paging zones, etc.

I think that you out of luck on the one-touch record issue but I have never actually had that requested. That being said, we have never really had a reason to try it.

There's a bit of magic that can happen when you change feature codes to match the numbering plan range. I don't think that was intentional either.
