I've inherited support for a Vodavi STSe phone system.

I've figured out how to change the menu recordings, but I need to know how to change what numbers do what

Example:
Pressing 1 goes to station 101. I need it to go to station 100.

Is there a way I can do that from a phone or am I going to have to get connected via computer somehow?

Also, is there a way to change a stations number? Like if I want to make station 104 become station 100?
The easiest way is to connect to it with a PC and use hyperterm or putty to change the CCR settings

As for the station numbers if you are familiar with Flash 52 you could reflex those two individual numbers or

You could do a station relocate at the user level. See station relocate in the user guide
Thanks for the fast response!

I guess I'll have to go buy a serial-to-usb cable and do it that way.

And thanks for the station relocate, that is exactly what I was looking for!
Assuming you have the STSe "flash" vm and not the hard drive version, do it like oobie said using hyperterminal. As far as switching stations, I wouldn't recommend using the "station relocation" feature. If I recall, it doesn't change the VMID for your station and the messages will go to the wrong place(I could be wrong). I would switch the wiring pairs on the block to keep the same numbers. JMHO.
Relocation code moves vmid and extension numbers. It will not move co line ringing, that stays with the port number not the extension number. Flex button programming does not move on other phones as well, that also stays with the original port.
Thanks for clarification Derrick. I knew there was a reason I didn't like the station relocation feature.
