Person called us and said next week AT&T is cutting over ring central and advised them they would have to buy a 3rd party system to interface there paging that's on the Merlin Legend. Its sip paging they said a Cyberdata V3 Paging Server would be what they would need is there any others out there?
Thanks

Have you looked at any Algo products? The 8301, or for a very small installation the speaker outputs on the 8180 may work.

Either way, yes, you will need some sort of SIP paging adapter to hook in to your existing paging amp, or in the case of the 8301, replace the paging amp.

At any rate, good luck to you. My experience with hosted PBX solutions, except those that have an on premise backup, have not been good.

I used the Snom PA1 for a customer's hosted system.
Worked well but I had to make a voltage divider system with a couple resistors to connect the speaker output of the unit to the line level input of his paging amp.
