Last I heard, it's supposed to be released June 1. The NEC reps are finally talking about it and should be able to send you some literature on configuration and features. I've not seen any pricing yet. I do like the slide-in cards - It's about time they moved away from the snap-on / stack-on style!!

It has slide in cards/slots, but it still is not hot swapable.
4 port CO cards are now 3 port cards.
PRI card and CO cards are daughterboards.
Mini jacks for external MOH and external paging are now RJ61 on extension card not CPU card.
Built in features are now 4ch of vrs/vm, 2 hours of storage time (SD card required for more time - 1gb or 4 gb - 15/120 hrs and bus card for more vm channels), 1 voice prompt, 8ch of VoIP (VoIP daughterboard required for more channels) and 4 mobile extension client.
2 SLT's and 8 MLT's per extension card with connections for MOH/EZP/relay's 1+2.

Nice. I heard you could run IP phones w/o a voip card.anyone have a link to the digital brochure or spec sheet?

It does come with the VoIP board and 8 channels with the ability to upgrade to 128 channels. The only info I've seen on it is the information for the Beta test - not sure what the final product is shipping with.

Cost. The existing SL1100 is way cheaper than the SV9100 in my region.

I heard about this system a month ago but no info has been forthcoming. Thanx for posting..

NEC is showing a bunch of "Discover the NEC SL2100" webinars starting next week so I suspect we'll find out then.

Looks like NEC has joined the regional blocking brigade when you try to access https://www.necsl2100.com "The SL2100 Communications System is not yet available in your region." Don't they want people to know about their products?? Glad I use Opera with it's built in VPN..
