Switching to roadrunner after 11 or 12 years with AOL. (Or as 1 friend calls them, 'Agent Of Lucifer'. smile ) Does ANYBODY know how to print out my 'FAVORITES' list. It winds up in some file with a ".pft" extension. A little wandering around on the web netted me no FREE help. Man, I don't want to buy software for a 1 time thing! Apparently, they have an extension of ".pfc" for my 'personal filing cabinet' contents, that has the same problem, but I haven't gotten there yet. Anybody know if the "Open Office Suite" can open it/them? John C.

Upload the .pfc here -> LinkAGoGo.com :

Then, I suggest a download of Firefox too :

Isn't AOL wonderful? At least with IE (don't know about Firefox) favorites are put in a normal folder. You can back it up, copy, edit it and create a shortcut and put it on your desktop if you want.

Hal, if you like the way IE does it... check out Google's favorites/bookmarking tool -> https://www.google.com/bookmarks/

I use iGoogle for my home page ( https://www.google.com/ig ) and have my news via Google reader, mail through Google mail ( https://mail.gooogle.com ), bookmarks via Google bookmarks, wiki-how's Google tool ( https://www.wikihow.com/Main-Page ) for a "How-To" of the day and the weather!

It's great because when I check e-mail, or news reader items, they all update on Google servers. I never have duplicate thread/stories or emails to comb through. Best thing about Gmail, is that you can migrate any eisting e-mail account with it and not loose any functionality.

Google has some really useful tools, imho.
