Been to the iDCS 500 class, but they did not cover this particular feature very good. I have a Compact DCS I am setting up for a Real Estate office,. The owner/broker would like to monitor the incomming calls to be sure the clients are getting quality service from the agents.....question is this....

I have 14 phones on the system, I want to be able to monitor a conversation that is taking place...I know the barge feature is used for this, and I have programmed a button for this on the Owner/Brokers phones...I have also modified the COS to reflect a NON-SECURE mode on all the phones, yet still does not work....Any ideas?

Have you set up MMC 206? This allows the barge in type,none, with tone,without tone.

I had that set "Without tone", but still did not work......

OK have you set the stations up with the cos in MMC 301 that you modified in MMC 701 to allow the secure no feature?

I have figured out what I was doing wrong....you must dial the extension wait for the busy tone THEN press the Barge key!
