Hello

We have changed our SMTP Server and need to point the Voice mail to it.

However when I Change the Host ID (System Wide Parameters) to the new server still voicemail to email dosnt work.

I check the port activity and it is still showing as sending to the old smtp server.

is there something im missing

Can anyone help

We had the same problem with the email gateway when we converted to Exchange 2010. After making all the changes to the voice mail system, it turned out we need to authorize that the voice mail ip address to be able to send out to exchange in the exchange settings. You might want to check there too.

There is also a tickbox (can't remember what it is, something about TLS before something from memory) on Exchange 2007 (maybe in Exchange 2010 as well) that needs to be checked to allow auth from the SVMi to work.

Thank you bmreem the Mclass is exactly what we needed I set the ip and its using the new server.

What i don't under stand is what does the SMTP setting on the system wide Params do ?

I believe it used for the "From" address within the email that way its not treated as spam.
