I still wonder if this was a setup.
I can understand why the glass doors shattered, but why did the side panels do it as well? The reel did not appear to cause the frame to twist because it went out almost dead center.
The people sitting off to the side didn't react all that much to the sound of the crash.

A couple of Winters ago my wife and I were on the Oregon Coast during a big wind storm and lost power at the hotel. About 7 PM I decided to go to sleep while my wife, with flashlight in hand, read a book in bed.
11PM the "Horns and Strobe" go off.
Within a millisecond I was standing WIDE-EYED (and naked)
My wife, irritated from the disrupted from her reading, exclaiming: "What's that noise"?
