Hey guys, I need a bit of help. I have an ESI-200 system that I need to get setup for my company. Now I can program it with a Phone, but I'd much rather have a GUI interface that I can use to initialize and program with. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the reseller's portal as I'm just an on-site support and manager. Our installer for the original systems that are currently in use is worthless. Charged us for 10 hours, but didn't bother to actually do anything for most of it, and then didn't even actually fix the problem, just told me to make everyone use a work-around..

I have System Administrator working already, but it doesn't give me all the functions, like Function 8. And with as much as things seem to change in this company, I need to be able to make system-level changes quickly to keep the company's phones operational, after getting them operational to begin with.

So, if someone could pm me a link to download ESI System Programmer, or even email it to me, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thanks!

Sorry but that program is restricted to resellers.

Seriously though ESI is very good about protecting their resellers and won't service end users at all and will not provide service through other resellers until the selling reseller releases the customer.

This site also isn't intended to provide installer level info to end users.

I have all the info I need.. just missing the software to make it.. quicker. So be it, Tomorrow I plug this unit in with a phone, and program by hand, and show, that I am no idiot.

Being an old phone guy i prefer programming from the phone. I can have the whole thing done by the time i boot up my laptop and open the program!

I'm not sure where your idiot comment comes from and i hope you weren't offended because I won't give you proprietary software that we were told not to share.

It's also a shame your reseller was sub par. If you want to find another one near you we can help with that.

The simple fact is you can't do EVERYTHING with the program, either. For instance, you can't default the system through the program. There are some features that can only be programmed through the phone.

Not one post, by the people here, had even a suggestion of talking down to you. We are trying to be helpful within the confines of #1, this forum and it's rules and #2 ESI's policy to limit access to the program to properly trained ESI dealers.

Here's a thought: you may want to call ESI and ask them for the phone number and contact information of a qualified ESI dealer in your area.

Like John I am an OLD phone guy, but unlike John I do like the program to do most of the programming. However, I can't do it all from the program.

It may all be a moot point anyways. System has been in storage for awhile. Connected cables, 66 and phone. Powered it up, and it came online. Did it's full boot. I was able to set the time on the system, went to look for my worksheet, heard a soft "click" from the area of the Cabinet, and it's off. I've tried switching the strip on and off, pulled all the cards out, checked both fuses (both are fine), but cannot get it to power back up, so not a good start to the Monday morning anyways.

Is the system a plastic cabinet or a metal cabinet? There were issues with the power connectors on the plastic cabinets.
