I picked up and CID box and am trying to see if I can get it working with my 108. The issue I am having is that my VXC is running in SMDI mode and the auto-attendant answers immediately, likely before the CID can receive it's data. I tried changing the number of rings before answer to 2 in the Line Setup, but it doesn't seem to change it. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I assume you have fooled with the ring delay in the system programming under the Caller ID programming.
And if my memory serves me correctly I think you will loose the caller ID information once call is transferred. If I remember correctly it doesn't stay on the display very long.

Another thing that comes to mind is sending the calls to a dummy ACD sequence first with a delay there then send it to the Auto Attend entry point.

None of the delays I've changed seem to impact the number of rings that the system answers on. Even with the ACD, it still answers immediately, it just waits the delay before it transfers to Hunt 36.
I thought I remembered seeing a post where someone was able to carry the CID info the whole way through the system.

Let me know how the system is programmed to get the calls to the Auto Attend. I.E. Do you use a dummy single line extension and have Line ID's ringing it and it it forwarded to a entry mailbox that is going to CCR? From what you state above it sounds like you have the single line programmed to go to H36 in the forwarding screen and the Voicemail is set for Auto Attend on the ports?

Each of the 8 extensions of the VXC are programmed for H36 with the VMS/ATTEND option on and all of the incoming lines are set to H36. The calls go straight into the Attendant.

Take one of the lines out of H36 and make it ring directly to a display phone and ensure the Caller ID is coming through.
If that works what you may need to do is make a dummy extension SLT or phone ring on the lines and then forward to the voicemail via the G-Screen forwarding program to get the delay. Even then not sure if the Caller ID will remain as like I mentioned earlier the Caller ID doesn't stay after the transfer. You can try to verify that with the line you make ring directly to a display phone. If the caller ID is there then transfer it to another station and see if it stays. I think the post you were mentioning about the Caller ID staying is when you have 3.0 software on the CPU and are using the PRI card with caller ID options set. On the Caller ID box if my memory serves me correct it goes away shortly after being answered.
