As usual I didn't explain the trouble very well.
The buttons that don't work aren't on the touch-pad.
The system is set up as a key system, so its the two
intercom buttons, line 2 and the "home" button under
the display.
Do you repair MLX-10D phones and if not can you

Yes we repair them.
That makes it a sure thing that it is the membrane that is shot.
