Ran into an issue with message lights turning on. I was unable to recreate, I know there is a slew of reasons that could cause this. I wanted to see if it was the VM that may have been at fault and went searching for some sort of log file that might have been made that would confirm or deny this. I was unable to find one. Does one exist?

Just hit #5 on the display phone and see who or what set it.

I should have been clearer, I meant not turning on blush

Check your COS on the APDL extension. Also check your NPL to make sure the code hasn't been changed. You will also need to check the CMC strings for turning on and off the MWI haven't been changed.

There was a Power supply issue (Surprise!) with one of the SL cabinets, I was just trying to prove to their IT guy (and myself) that the issue was due to the cabinet going off line, and that the VM had indeed tried to send out the MWI. Not a huge deal, I gave my generic response of "the VM is from an era where Hardrives weren't that big and the manufactuers dedicated all the drive space to mailboxes as opposed to detailed log files" smile
