Inter-tel System v6
I'm keep getting a System Alarm 112. What is this error trying to tell me? I noticed I have been get this error frequently since my T1 connection been going up and down. Also, I'm not sure if this is related, but I notice this error gets trigger when I dial a hunt group extension that is having problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
I also want to added this to my posting. It appears that a few other extension I dial will trigger this alarm 112.
A112 ALARM CPU: Running Low On System Dynamic Memory
There are several possible causes for this. Since you mentioned hunt groups we'll start there.
If there are too many all ring hunt groups configured with a ton of stations in them, it can cause this error. All ring hunt groups take up a lot of dynamic memory.
Pull the log files and see what is setting off the alarm. I've gotten it several times when SIP is not turned off in the network menu on a 5000 not sure if V-6 had that option but might take a look. If you can't open the logs zip and e-mail and I'll convert and return them to you with some highlights on things I see that might be the issue

Thanks you for replying STIX1 and MVSpeed.
I was able to open the log and it did show several A112 -low on dynamic memory. Today, I reset the system and dial the hunt group and the error did not trigger, so I believe the memory or log was cleared after the reboot. Just like the other posting stated on Sundance.
STIX1 - What do you mean by "All Ring Hunt Group"?
MVSpeed - Where can I check to see if SIP is enable or disable on Version 6.004?
shrcp I don't have anything that old my oldest system is 7.2f9 Maybe Stix1 has an old one he can look at and see if he sees it .... SIP may be too new for 6.0 not sure
An All Ring Hunt Group would be one where the member is an extension list that contains all keyset extensions on the system.
I looked in a 6.0 DB and could not find SIP anywhere. Probably wasn't a setting until a later version. Networking is available under Premium Features but only for T1 networking I believe.
Thank you. I greatly appreciate both of your help.
