Hello, I just inherited an intertel axxess system and the previous tech doesnt know what the ip address of the system is. He thought it was set with dhcp so I am at a loss. I have worked with 3com but not intertel. Could someone give a place to start? I have the session manager software, and I can break the boot sequence to a command prompt on the phone system, but it doesnt appear that the OS2 Warp that is on there is a full product as I cant do the normal ifconfig lanX or ???

Thanks Much,
Dan.

192.168.200.201 is the default IP on the CPC card.

As far as the OS/2, that is on the EVMC card which is the voicemail. (Embedded Voice Mail Card).

If something else is set on the CPC card you'll need to run Wireshark or some other network analyzer to figure out the IP. You can also connect via serial but you will need to make a proprietary DB9 connector. If you do a search in the Inter-tel forum you can find the pinout.

You should really just use nmap and scan your network.
