Ive just been asked to take over re-installing a 3000. I know zero about Intertel and wanted to know is it similar to a Samsung, NEC DSX, Avaya, or Nortel. I have looked for a manual but unable to find one.

It is a Mitel/Inter-Tel product and you need the Maintenance and Programming software to work with it. If you don't have this I would pass.
