We run an IP Office 406. We have one machine setup as the voicemail server. I would like to better track phone calls to determine how many we take in a day and how many we make in a day. Will the Delta Server allow me to do this? If so, is it possible to run the Delta Server on the same computer with the VoiceMail Server? (the system specs are XP Pro, 2.6 GHz Processor, 1 gig RAM, 2 250-gig HDs). I looked at the specs for the Delta server app and they looked pretty low (ie: celeron processor, 256mb RAM). Thanks for your assistance

Delta Server should be fine on the same machine. I have several sites with Delta Server and VM on the same computer.

With Delta Server you will have the ability to save SMDR logs but they won't be very easy to read for accounting purposes. For easier reading/viewing, you would also need some other software to manage the data. Some people cobble together their own databases etc but most simply use commercial call accounting software.

Ipofficeguy is right. When you open the SMDR records, you will see 1 line for every status change. A call comes in and is answered by you, you transfer the call, the call is answered and put on hold, picked up and then terminated.

That would be 4 lines of info. The only thing that would sort of (sort of) clear it up, is you can sort the records with Excel, and each call will have a reference number which would be the same, no matter what the status changes would be. So you could go through and delete the unnecessary info.

But, like stated above, this is clunky, paying for tapit or somrthing of the sort would be better.
