Hello all,

I've got a weird one for you... at least it is weird to me. Programmed some auto-dial/BLF buttons on my BIS-22D on my desk for all of the voicemail port extensions on my 6 port voicemail card so I could see what they are doing. Oddly enough, extension 121 keeps going off-hook on its own for about 5 - 8 seconds and then hanging up. It does this over and over about every 20 to 30 seconds. What is it doing?

Thanks for any input. I'm sure it is something simple.

Could it be the TTR's calling to turn on the MWL?

Yeah, that and the time, day/night mode and other information from the switch. Partner does that too.

Continuously every 20 to 30 seconds seems excessive for MWI and time sync - In Monitor you can trace the extension and see what it is up to

Thanks guys. I'll have to try the monitor trick. It'll be a little while, I just got a PRI PCI card for my Asterisk server so I'm working on setting up a PRI between my Legend and Asterisk to use SIP trunks over PRI.
