Hello everyone,

I have some public "hotel" phones on my Mitel sx200 el-ml, that require dialing 9 before getting an outside line.

All of these lines have extensions inside our phone system, but also have full direct #s from the outside.

Is it possible to adjust these extensions/#s so that dialing 911 goes out to emergency instead of them dialing 9911 ?

If so can you help me understand how to adjust this in the system?

Thanks much.

In your ARS you have a leading digit 9 I gather. In you digit strings you then program 11 with 0 digits to follow, emergency route, route to an ARS route number that has in it a digit modification that does not delete any digits.

I understand what you mean about making 11 route to the emergency number, but I dont understand where to find or adjust this in my system. Can you guide me to this with a bit more detail? I'm very new at this.

Nope. You have exceeded the level of help for a user. This level of programming requires programming, at least, four different areas. If you don't have training or are new to this, messing around in these areas can bring the PBX down. Best advice I can offer is for you to contact a Mitel dealer in your area. That dealer can do, for you, in 5 minutes what it can take you all day to figure out.

LCR is the most rocket-science-y thing about a Mitel, so I'm going to second RCAman. If his first explanation didn't make sense to you, than you need to call a dealer.

This looks like something that may be an issue for a few more facilities soon : https://www.kltv.com/story/24439970...ations-in-hotels-captures-fccs-attention
