can't hear person on incoming calls

Try switching out another phone on the same jack to see if the problem continues on a different phone. Also, swap handset cords, handset, and or base cord. If problem continues, may need to have a tech trouble shoot jack/cable.

are you talking on handset or using speakerphone?
