Does anyone know when Transfer To Voice Mail feature was introduced? I have a customer with an Apps Module Ver 3.0 and when he does a F986 it just goes back to the display before he hit feature. F981 works so I know he is in the right Feature Set. Was Xfr2VM introduced on Ver. 4.0??
Anything before that has to transfer to DN and let it ring, then goto VM ??

Let's make it more interesting. OK-F986 is in Ver 3.0. But we tried it again, on a different phone. Find out....Some phones it works, other phones, it does not. All phones are M7310's. Phones that seem to work have plain T1 lines 1-5,& 8-10 on them. Phones that don't work have lines 7,& 11-17 on them. Otherwise they are programmed identical. This does not make any sense to me. Any ideas???

Yes, just as I was typing that up, I realized what was happening. Group one got the call, transfer to group 2. So now it showed up on the intercom, and with only 1 intercom they can't do the F986. But the other group could because it was appearing on a line button. Sorry, I should have seen that first.

Good call. You do need an available IC path to transfer to voice mail.
