Hi folks,

I came in today to a freshly rebooted system due to a power outage over the weekend and can't make outgoing calls, with a nice "No free lines" message. Incoming calls work fine on this PRI. Is there anything that I can look at to see what went wrong before I call out the local expert? It would be nice to have it up sometime this morning. smile

Call in someone in the know. While you're waiting, make sure that there is a UPS installed for the system. If not, get one.

This may be a CO problem in any event.

Check lights on PRI Card.
Disable - then re-enable the card.
If you don't know about the above two lines then call a Norstar Tech.
Then call Telco.
I have a ticket into AT&T as well as a Nortel installer who can be here by noon. We'll see what happens! Thankfully, incoming calls are not affected.
Mooretel: Definitely a new UPS on both phones and server -- must have been an extended power outage as both eventually cut out...

check routing may have had a software glitch on power outage,,,routing may have defaulted
