Setting up a system for a branch of our college campus.

Incoming calls hit Custom service. When the caller dials a
particular extension ( which is CF/All to cell phone i.e. 7139nxx-xxxx), and
the forwarding does not work! I think I checked all the settings,
but I am not as familiar with TVA as TVS..

I didn't forget to use "9" as a prefix. I tried putting the extension in the alternate transfer Extension group, and set the
sequence to FX;D ( which had worked with the TVS and TD816).
I tried all kinds of transfer sequences ( FXD, FTX;D, etc. )

Any help much appreciated!

The call does not have to hit an extension - if the TVA50 could dial the outside number when caller dials the extension, that would be OK..

because you are using extension call forward all the settings are on the phone system.

is fwd to co enabled on the telephone system.

try doing a no answer fwd to co on the extension and see if the call will go after a few rings, I beleive I had a problem with straight transfer from voicemail which would be seen as a transfer to co.

you could get the voicemail to do it,but it wont allow you to receive calls on the system phone if you wanted
You wrote that the FWD doesn't work. Just what happens to the call? As OBT said check in the switch that CFW to CO is enabled for that extensions COS.
Transfer to CO and CF to CO set?You can xfer to out in the TVA if it need not ring a phone. You can xfer to out in the mailbox personal AA.
Gents,

Thanks much for the replies. Sorry I have not gotten back quickly-
the site is at a distance, and I don't go every day..

Finally got it to work. You were right about the CF to outside in the COS for the extension - it was disabled. I also had to change
Transfer to CO and CF to Co ( programs 606 and 607 ). I did have to put the extensions into the Alternate group, and set the sequence to FX,D

Thanks for telling about direct transfer to outside in the TVA.
That would be perfect since no phones are ever used at these extensions.

I have another question, but will put it in a separate post..
