We just purchased a multitech voip 410 unit and I am having issues trying to figure out the analog requirements.
Currently we have two analog lines setup on the pbx. The lines are utilizing the kxtda0107 analog cards.
Currently my analog lines are setup for extension xx and bb
What I would like to do is for the extension xx to rollover to bb if it is being in used by the voip. This way we can have two users using the voip at the same time.
On the multitech voip, I have the system set to hunting for available channels if one of them is busy.
What do I need to do on the pbx to make this happen?
Do I need to create a pilot number lets call it ext cc.
User dials ext cc and it hunts for any available analog lines in the hunt group. (aa and bb)
Or can we setup a pilot number called aa
User dials ext aa and it automatically hunts for aa or bb.
If this is the case, how can I program this using the handset. Or if software is available for the kxtda-100, would this be an easier route to pgram the pbx?
thanks,
in advance.
