I just an email from the amanda corp. regarding the release of a new version of the SOHO, except its in a flash version.
What are your feelings about the AMANDA line of products. Is it worth picking 1 up and trying it. A real good into price...

I've only worked with one, but I'd say it's worth it. All programming options available from a phone, flexible integration codes, nice system voice.

Many years ago I helped Amanda (TAA) with the integration on the Comdial line for the SOHO. We sold a good many of the original and they are still out there. Even though the Comdial InTerchange is a powerful system, I have customers who preffer the Amanda on FX systems due to the fact that you have 0 through 9 as options in each voice mail box. SOHO was not compatible with Comdial's DXP or FX w/3 or 4 digit dialing. It would only handle 2 digit extensions. I have not seen the new system you are talking about but I also got their email today.
