sdcorbin Member Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1 weatherford,OK,USA	I have a customer that has a DX80 sys with 7260 phones. The phone in question starts out with a very faint static and builds up to a noticable static. It is almost like inductive static but nothing has changed since the install. I believe it may be happening to other phones as well. Not sure if problem is in phone or port or linel. Any suggestions.

RATHER BE FISHING Admin Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 9,172 Likes: 22 Eastern North Carolina	Check the cabinet serial number on the side...If there is an J in the middle of the serial number I seem to remember there were some white noise issues as you describe. Replacing the CPM module fixed it.

Piffle Member Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 54 Seneca,SC	Just swap it with another set and see if the trouble follows. I'm betting it's a set trouble; I have replaced 6-8 sets in the past with similar symptoms.
