Hi,
Would someone be kind enough to provide me with a walkthrough on setting up a dial prefix on the above system?
We currently dial 9 for an outside line, which then automatically prefixes the call to go through our LCR.
The problem is that our LCR has provided us with an alternative prefix code that will route our calls through their call recording system (if we so wish).
I’d like to set up an alternative outside line number (say 7 for example) that will then automatically prefix the call with this alternative code.
I’m afraid that I’m not extremely proficient with our system but I have programmed it before. If anyone can provide a walkthrough or “idiot’s guide†I’d appreciate it.
Regards,
James.

You need to set up the lcr to accomodate this using the route and modify digits programming. If you aren't very familiar with the programming then I suggest you contact a dealer to set it up for you.
