I'm trying to install a viking w-3000 door phone on an ESI 72e gen1 and having a great deal of difficulty. I can get it setup on an analog port, program the ringdown, and it even works. ONCE, and only once. Press the button, it dials, if somebody answers, you can talk, then the answering party hangs up and the doorphone goes into permanent busy tone. Only way to make it stop is to unplug it from the port and power cycle it both. Anybody have any ideas what I could be doing wrong? I'm also trying to hook up the viking rc-2a to monitor that analog line and open a door when a touch tone code is detected, but I haven't even put it in the circuit yet because I can't make the door phone work without it yet. Any help would be appreciated since viking's tech support hours leave a lot to be desired.

edit: I also tried running it to an extra CO/trunk port and the system didn't seem to detect it ringing in when I tried that.
